Ben nicholson, lpc

My supervision group specializes in working with creative arts therapists who are working toward earning their professional counseling license (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania and emphasizes the use of creative processes and heuristic self-inquiry as key components of the supervision. The group meets in person for two hours twice a month in South Philadelphia, PA. Individual LPC supervision is also available.

Ben Nicholson (he, him) is a board-certified music therapist and professional counselor licensed to practice in the states of Pennsylvania and Virginia. He has over 20 years of experience in the mental health field, with more than 11 of those years consisting of work as a therapist. Originally from outside of Atlanta, Georgia, Ben has lived and worked in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania since 2010. In his leisure time, Ben enjoys hiking, the arts, and time spent with friends and family. Additionally, Ben holds the following credentials:

· Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP).

· Fellow of the Association for Music and Imagery (FAMI, the Guided Imagery and Music    credential).

· Certified Telemental Health Practitioner (CTMH).

· Basic training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy.

· Trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).

Group Supervision (50 min.): $50 ($100 total for the 2-hour group session)

Individual Supervision (50 min.): $100
